James heads up our construction team and he is a consultant to the firm. He has over 12 years of experience, having previously been a partner at another top West End London practice and he also works directly within the construction industry. His practice covers a wide spectrum of commercial development, residential and mixed-use construction and development projects acting for developers, funders, contractors and consultants.

He has particular expertise in the drafting and negotiation of all forms of building and civil engineering contracts, development and funding agreements, professional appointments, warranties and related project documentation.

James also advises on employment law for the firm and his employment practice involves advising and drafting employment contracts, directors’ services agreements and all related employment policies and procedures.

In Legal 500 James has been praised by his clients and peers as “a very impressive lawyer”.
