Valerie is one of the founding partners of Brecher with over 30 years’ experience in property. She is highly respected as one of the industry's great networkers and introducers as well as being a very experienced and accomplished lawyer.

Valerie specialises in acting for property companies and high-net-worth individuals, both from the UK and abroad. She has acted in connection with some of the UK’s most prestigious residential properties and has wonderful connections with key intermediaries in the industry. Valerie is particularly experienced in dealing with the tricky area of residential leaseholds, lease extensions and enfranchisement and is adept at advising overseas buyers in particular on this complex area.

Valerie also has a thriving commercial investment property practice, she has acted on all types of investment property, with a particular expertise in relation to shopping centres. Her sound, pragmatic approach and her legendary powers of persuasion have built her a very loyal and impressive client base.
