Our Litigation Practice
At Brecher we have built a litigation practice capable of handling the most complex real estate disputes for our clients as well as more general commercial litigation and criminal defence matters.
Our litigation experience encompasses landlord and tenant disputes such as: notices, claims and disputes in respect of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, recovery of possession and forfeiture, service charge disputes, dilapidations claims, eviction of squatters, lease construction and interpretation and leasehold valuation tribunal applications.
Our general contractual disputes experience includes: breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, shareholder disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency claims, director disqualification actions, construction disputes, professional negligence claims against solicitors, surveyors and architects, intellectual property disputes, including trademarks, copyright and passing off and licensing and regulatory work.
Our criminal defence experience includes acting for individuals being investigated by the police for a broad range of criminal matters, including motoring offences and conspiracy to defraud, and corporate clients being prosecuted by the Health & Safety Executive.
