Brecher lawyers in Great City 5km Road Race for the second year running
On the 19th of July 2007, a team of 12 Brecher staff took part in the annual Great City 5km Road Race. The event is a highlight for many aspiring joggers around the capital, especially as the course takes in most of the City of London, with roads closed for the occasion.
The Brecher team included participants from all areas of the firm, with lawyers, secretaries, the chief executive and support staff all turning out in their branded Brecher T-shirts.
The race is a competitive affair, with the overall winner taking just 14 minutes to finish. The Brecher entrants did the firm proud, most coming in around a respectable 30 minutes mark. The post-run analysis took place in the local pub afterwards, along with talk of the next race that the firm could enter. The real test will be how many of the team are back again next year.
This year’s event took place in July 2008.
14 runners took part with Business Law Solicitor Bradley Lee taking the honours with a very creditable time of 25 minutes and 35 seconds. Not forgetting a special mention for Senior Partner Jeremy Abram with a time of just over 30 minutes!
