Formerly a Partner at Boodle Hatfield, James heads up our construction team in the property department and is a consultant to the firm. His practice covers a wide spectrum of commercial development, residential and mixed-use construction and development projects acting for developers, funders, contractors and consultants.

He has particular expertise in the drafting and negotiation of all forms of building and civil engineering contracts, development and funding agreements, professional appointments, warranties and related project documentation.

James also advises on employment law for the firm and his employment practice involves dealing with all employment law issues for employers and employees; drafting employment contracts, directors’ services agreements and all related employment policies and procedures.
