Andrew is a Senior Associate in the real estate department.

His experience includes acquiring large freehold and leasehold investment portfolios, together with general management work relating to commercial premises. In particular, he has advised purchasers on potential issues that may lead to significant capital expenditure or which may hinder future development. Andrew also has experience in the retail sector, advising tenants on development agreements and acquiring retail units within prominent national shopping centres.

Andrew also advises both tenants and landlords in respect of telecommunication agreements, in particular in response to the provisions of the Digital Economy Act 2017 and its implications for developers in particular. This also involves advising clients on the legal status of existing agreements and negotiating new leases which balance both the need of the operator for certainty and that of the landowner to be able to redevelop.

Andrew qualified in 2011 and joined Brecher in 2014.
