Michael joined Brecher as a Partner in 2012. He is a construction lawyer specialising in providing non-contentious construction and engineering advice to contractors, sub-contractors, developers and lenders within the following sectors: commercial, residential (particularly high-end), hotels & leisure, retail, rail and regeneration and heads up our Construction Department. He has considerable experience of working on the various forms of building and engineering contracts including JCT, ICC, NEC, FIDIC and MF/1 in addition to development (and development management) agreements, consultant appointments (bespoke and industry forms), collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees. He also provides strategic dispute avoidance advice and has experience in adjudication, litigation and mediation.
