Belinda Solomon, Partner in our Real Estate Practice, has served as a source for a recently-published landmark study by the University of Leeds. The study, the first of its kind, investigated the spread and consequences of conflicts of interest to advise the provision of commercial property agents acting on both sides of a transaction, and calling upon regulators to do more to address the problem. The study authors based their conclusions on interviews with Belinda and ten other leader property experts. The full report can be found here and a helpful summary can be found at Property Week.
