George is an Associate in the Litigation department specialising in Commercial Disputes with a focus on Banking and Finance Litigation.

He acts for a wide range of clients including banks, lenders, receivers, insolvency practitioners in their various roles (liquidators, administrators, and trustees in bankruptcy), directors, shareholders, high-net-worth individuals and other professionals in relation to banking and loan disputes, secured lending, corporate recoveries, insolvencies, distressed debt and enforcement actions and strategies including mortgage possession claims, money claims and security enforcement. He also advises on various contractual disputes, injunctions and other complex commercial disputes as well as alternative dispute resolution options at various stages in proceedings.

Prior to joining Brecher, George trained and qualified at an international law firm in their Real Estate Disputes team with a focus on property litigation, real estate finance disputes and other commercial disputes involving real estate assets. He previously spent four years as a paralegal at a magic circle law firm in their International Capital Markets department acting for investment banks and financial institutions on cross-border asset-backed securities issuances for various asset classes, in addition to other internal support for the department’s securitisation, general debt securities, derivatives and structured finance teams.

George qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in August 2024. He holds a BA Combined Hons in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law.
