Lucinda is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team. Lucinda has experience in a broad range of commercial real estate matters including the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, property development, investor and corporate occupier work, including asset management on commercial portfolios.  She acts for a range of corporate entities and developers and in particular focuses on office blocks and commercial units in industrial estates, shopping centres and wider residential schemes.

Lucinda’s most recent highlight includes assisting the Real Estate team on the acquisition of a mixed-use property multi-let to 28 commercial tenants in the City of London, in excess of £120M, for a joint venture corporate client and subsequently dealing with the asset management work.

Lucinda also has extensive experience in the property aspects of corporate transactions and has acted on the disposal of a well-known hotel franchise for £7.5M, assisted on the acquisition of a company whose underlying asset was a hotel in Manchester, in excess of £14M and assisted on the disposal of a company, comprising five prominent fast food franchises for £8M.

Lucinda’s other expertise includes advising on:

  • The acquisition of investment property portfolio acquisitions.
  • High value lettings of Central and City of London office space.
  • Leases, assignments, underlettings, surrenders and licences on behalf of landlords and tenants, and general lease management.
  • Conditional contracts and agreements for lease.
  • Complex overage provisions.
  • Option agreements.
  • Sale and leaseback.
  • The real estate aspects of both asset and share disposals and acquisitions.

Lucinda is a keen sportswoman who has competed at national level. Lucinda is also company secretary to The Monkey Business Foundation, a charity set up in 2012 which runs major fundraising events in aid of the grocery industry and in education whereby it helps young people to aim high and fulfil their potential through employability and life skills programmes.

Lucinda qualified in 2014 and joined Brecher in 2019.
